Manager – Audit & Assurance
Reports to Regional Head – Internal Audit
Responsible for 2 Senior Executives
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of risk-based annual audit plan, conduct preliminary risk assessment and perform data analysis (for audit planning and testing)
by utilizing CAATs (Excel).
• Lead and execute all audit assignments specified in the annual risk-based audit plan.
• Conduct audit pre-planning (including planning resources and timeline) and lead scoping interviews with management.
• Presentation and finalization of audit scope. Coordinate audit opening meetings, management status updates and audit closing meetings.
• Supervise and execute process risk analysis and ensure proper completion of process risk assessment document (including flowcharts).
• Development of COSO based audit programs and update of audit manual.
• Design, supervise and execute tests. Review of audit workpapers to ensure proper documentation of tests performed.
• Review of interim communication letter and drafting of audit reports.
• In-fact meetings with management, review management action plans, update issue log and perform follow up audits for implemented action plans.
• Perform Quality Assurance Review for Internal Audit team in Malaysia.
• Consultative roles in ad-hoc projects.
PRE-REQUISITES
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting, or an ACCA.
Other certification such as CIA, CISA and CFSA is an advantage.
At least 5 years of internal and external auditing experience, with at least two years of managerial or supervision role.
Experience in retail industry and warehouse management preferred.
Salary range: $5000-$7000 (negotiable)
Location: Tampines
Working Hours: 40 hours, 5 days work week
