The Challenges
You will be involved in
* providing high standards of dispensing and pharmaceutical care to our patients/customers
* promoting rational and economic prescribing of drugs and ensuring the best possible outcome to the patients
You will
* assess, identify and resolve any drug-related problems
* play a pivotal role in promotiong responsible self-medication to patients
* supervise the pharmacy operations
* work as a team with doctors and nurses in the delivery of primary healthcare in a high patient volume setting
You will also participate in management of diseases by providing high standards of clinical services. Pharmacist-run ambulatory care services include
* Anti-coagulation Counselling Clinic (ACC)
* Smoking Cessation Clinic
* Medication Therapy Management
* Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Clinic.
In addition, there will be opportunities for overseas attachment and you can be involved in providing medication review and pharmacy services to nursing homes.
The Requirements
* A degree in Pharmacy and be registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Board
* Team-oriented and patient-focussed
* Good organisational, analytical and communication skills
* Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical knowledge and reasoning, critical thinking, judgement and decision-making in the provision of care
